New pictures...june and 4th of July

Well it's time to update some pictures again. I got some of my favorites on the 4th of July that you'll see below. Enjoy everyone!

This is Kat showing off her new "big girl bed". She had her toddler bed for about a week when this was taken. We thought she would be wandering all over her room as soon as she was free from her crib. She did very good staying in bed right away though. She only fell out of bed once. Luckily it was a short fall. She has since learned not to wiggle around so much. We will happily sell the crib in our garage sale next week!

When we lost power for 24hours in June the girls did a pretty good job entertaining themselves. At one point Tom did get the laptop out for them so they could watch a movie though. They zoned right in and were happy to have a movie to watch.

The girls enjoyed some cuddle time in Jessie's bed.

Jessie loves to play in this pop up tent. It's meant for a baby so it's a tight fit for her, but she doesn't care.

Jessie playing at Nature Center Camp. She went for a week in the mornings. She's very excited that next summer she'll be old enough for all day camp! She had a lot of fun making different art projects since art was the theme for the week.

Here's the start of the 4th of July pictures. We went to Plainwell for fireworks that night and the girls love running around in the field before the show starts. They had a lot of fun playing together without any fighting for the whole evening. It was a great family night. This picture is one of my favorites.

Running, running, running. She loved running back and forth.

This is my favorite picture.

This was taken right after the one before. You can see Kat was ready to be done but Jessie felt the need to "guide" her face for one more picture....

....and here Kat happily escapes one more posed picture.

Just lounging in the grass together, yes it's another favorite.

Talking in the grass telling secrets to each other. I'm sure Jessie was doing most of the secret telling, but Kat sure can keep up her end of the conversation.

Walking back instead of running. Holding hands too, how sweet.

Jessie spinning with her sparkler.

Kat intently watching her sparkler. I never did get a good one of her smiling, but she sure did love holding her own sparklers this year. You can see on the edge of the picture daddy wasn't very far away.

One more of Jessie with her sparklers. We had a great time at the fireworks. The weather was perfect and the girls loved watching the big show once it started. What a great night!
