John Ball Zoo June 2010

A little late in getting back to updating the blog here. We'll see if I get caught up today, probably not. Going back to June we went to John Ball Zoo with our friends Scott and Becky and their daughters Cameron and Ainsley. All the girls had a lot of fun together picnicing and checking out the animals. It was before the heat of summer kicked in and it was a beautiful day.


I like this picture of Jessie and Kat checking out the wallabies. Jessie is getting soooo tall, and Kat's just stretching her neck to see over the fence.

Kat feeding the budgie birds. She's holding a popsicle stick with bird food glued to it in her right hand and there's a blue budgie bird sitting on it eating. It's hard to see behind the cage. I'm in there somewhere, probably helping Jessie get a bird. A sparrow got in the cage and they were trying to catch it so the birds kept flying from one side of the cage to the other to avoid the net.

We switched kids at one point. Cam wanted to be in our wagon...

Before we left we took Jessie and Kat over to the playground for a little play time. They still talk about wanting to go back to John Ball to play on the playground.

These are the butterflies the girls "grew". We got them as caterpillars and watched them change into Painted Lady Butterflies.

Our beautiful ballerina after the show with her flowers. She was very excited to get these flowers, it was the first time she got flowers. The carnations were from Mommy, Daddy and Kat and the rose was from Aunt Patti, Uncle Jeff, and the boys. She loved having those flowers on her dresser for well over a week.

Easter 2010

The girls weren't in a posing mood Easter morning. This was the best one that showed both dresses and both girls decently.
